Bethany Walkinshaw-Campbell
I graduated from the University of West Florida with Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Science (2015) and Physics (2017). I discovered a love for optics after interning at the Air Force Research Laboratory in a nature-inspired laboratory (“bug lab”). I earned a Master of Science in Physics (2020) from San Diego State University, studying multilayered aluminum-doped zinc oxide metamaterials. As a member of the Ocean Optics Lab, I am currently studying diffuse attenuation coefficients in the Arctic.
